How to bake dark chocolate cake


Gather suppliesMeasuring cupsA cup of WaterCake mix1/2 cup of Vegetable OilA cake panAn oven3 eggsMixer/ whiskMixing bowlPot holders / oven mittsButter knifeA rubber scraper

Pour the whole box of cake mix in mixing bowl

Pour a cup of water and a 1/2 cup of veg. Oil

Break the 3 eggs and add them to the the mix one at a time ( make shure there are no egg shells in the container before adding to the mix)

Beat with mix on medium speed for 2 min or if you have a whisk do the same with it

Clean mixer

Throughly spray pam on cake pan

Sprinkle flour on the pan then shake pan lightly (upright) (repeat one time)

Pour mix in to pan try to get as much of the mix as possible before scraping the mix in the pan then level mix with a spatula

Make shure mix is level

Pre heat oven to 350 and bake put a thermometer in to make shure it is 350

Put in pan

Bake for 34 to 38 mins

Clean cake utensils and bowl while waiting

Wait

Take the cake out take oven mitts or pot holders and take the rack out and the cake out then turn the oven off wait to touch the cake it will be hot wait about a halfhour if you want to frost it

Now this step is optional if you want you can add frosting first get the frosting then use a butter knife or spatula to spread it the frosting color is up to you

Decorate this step is also optional you can decorate your cake with sprinkles in different patterns and colors and words you can do what ever you want but make shure its edible

Cover the cake with tin foil first measure out some tin foil the eages should be about 2-3 inches long so you can fold the corners
